Meridian

Meridian is in pre-launch. It is a travel journal for long-trip travellers, backpackers and digital nomads, built on a simple idea: the more you write about where you've been, the better it understands what you'll love next.

What it does

• A journal that remembers. Diary entries with photos, places, comments and reactions, organised into trips.
• Travel DNA. A taste profile built from your own writing, used to personalise recommendations you can accept or reject.
• Discover on a map. Explore places and recommendations geographically.
• Your travels, collected. A passport of countries and stamps, streaks, and time capsules to open later.

Under the hood

A service-based platform with vector and geographic search in PostgreSQL, background workers, and an AI layer that works across several model providers. Social features are already built and will be switched on after launch.
