PettyLedger

PettyLedger is in development with a launch customer in Dubai. It is built for businesses where staff spend cash in the field against a specific thing (a car, a building site, a restaurant, a machine, a vessel) and someone in the office has to approve it, fund it, and see what each thing has really cost.

What it does

• Field app that works offline. Staff capture expenses with receipts on their phone, even without signal; entries sync when they reconnect.
• Approval rules by amount. Small amounts can auto-approve, larger ones need one signature, and the largest need a manager and then the owner.
• Dual control. Sensitive account actions require two different people, and nobody can approve their own request.
• Cash floats and positions. See how much cash each person holds and how much of it is still unaccounted for.
• Cost and profit per item. Every expense is attached to the vehicle, site or machine it was spent on, so profit and loss is visible per item.
• Accounting export. Approved spend posts to Tally, and reports export to CSV and Excel.
• English and Arabic, and currencies with two or three decimal places (AED, BHD, KWD).

Each industry is a configuration pack, not a separate product: used cars, construction, plant hire and food service are designed today.

Security

Row-level security in the database, an append-only audit trail, strong password hashing, login throttling, and the ability to revoke sessions you don't recognise.
